26 May 2013 – Fairford
We have only been back in the UK for 5 days and we have had a flying visit from Martin who dropped in for breakfast and then went with Gerry to visit Gerry’s mum in Gloucester. It may have been a short visit but it was great to catch up. Then on Sunday, James and Hannah, Lucy and James and Jon and Jess visited for lunch. To add to our joy, the weather was really good and we were able to eat in the garden and Gerry was able to finish off the chicken and ribs on the BBQ. As usual though Annie had done 99% of the work and so it seems grossly unfair to say Gerry did the BBQ. Nevertheless, we sat over a long and lovely lunch and also played boule and various other garden games. The sun was strong enough to warrant putting the parasol over the table!!!!
It was a really super day. To complete our welcome home, Jenny phoned to ask if she could bring the children over to Fairford next Wednesday.
