11 July – Fairford
Jo, Alexander and Oliver have met even more aunts and uncles including 2 Uncle James, Uncle Martin, Auntie Louise, Auntie Harriet and Great Aunt Pam and Great Uncle Neil. We have also visited Birdland at Bourton on the Water, The New Forest where a wild pony and its foal came to see if we would give them any food. They were quite persistent but we didn’t give them anything!
We went fishing and Alexander caught 2 tiddlers but Oliver didn’t manage to catch anything although he still had a great time. Oliver has continued to improve his football and cart towing skills whilst Alexander has perfected the art of hanging on to a Hoola Hoop and being carried around the garden. Alexander has also been a great help filling the bird seed and nut containers for Grandpa.
