7 October – Manhattan Beach
We came across to Los Angeles today (Saturday) to go to the Hometown Fair at Manhattan Beach. We enjoyed getting temporary tattoos for Alexander and Todd (Annie wouldn’t let Gerry have one), and having some food before going to visit the ‘petting zoo’ where the children were able to touch and feed several different sorts of animal. Our final session was to visit the fire truck . Todd and Gerry then brought the boys back home whilst Jo and Annie carried on to visit the craft stalls and then to win some goldfish for Alexander!!!!. The girls arrived home about 3o minutes after Todd and Gerry and then went out for a coffee leaving T and G to watch some sport on the tv or to sleep (guess who did which activity).
