July 2018 – Visitors
Towards
the end of July we had a lovely visit from Lucy and Emma as well as Jenny, Bethany, Callum and Elsie.

We had a lovely lunch together before Lucy and Emma left but not before Emma demonstrated that she could operate the model railway like an expert.
.
.
Jenny also left after lunch but Bethany, Callum and Elsie stayed overnight.
In the evening the five of us went to the local Italian Restaurant (Colosseo) for a meal with six friends.
The children looked fantastic and posed for a photograph just before we left home.
The meal was a great success and the children certainly enjoyed the food and the company. I think it is fair to say that the adults also enjoyed the company of three such well behaved foodies.

The next morning we had a lovely time playing at ‘The Beach’ on the River Coln
.
We drove the children back home to Caversham after tea – a short but very enjoyable visit.
